Art Statement
I do oil painting to praise God for His creation. I like to share my work with others to inspire peace and harmony. My paintings depict the beauty of land & sea, flowers & gardens, I consider them as of reconciliating nature, with a therapeutic intent.
I picked up painting as a hobby since 1996, following my mother’s footstep. She was an accomplished Chinese brush painting artist. I have included some of her most accoladed paintings in my gallery.
I took lessons from Bob Rankin, Pauline Cortez, Ngo Lap and Winne Ferguson, as you see from a melting pot of USA, hence my style. I am a member of Fine Art League of Cary.
I had solo exhibits at Herb Young Community Center sponsored by Town of Cary, at Wake Medical Center sponsored by United Art Council. I participate in exhibits as much as possible to entertain people and to meet other artists in the community. I am committed to producing art and promoting art.
