Showcasing incredible talent and celebrating artists everywhere!
Big Sur, CA
I do oil painting to praise God for His creation. I like to share my work with others to inspire peace and harmony. My paintings depict the beauty of nature, meant to be therapeutic. My paintings are based on the scenery of North Carolina, the places all over the world where I have traveled, and the flowers I have enjoyed. I paint as what I see, my style is realism. My medium is oil. I use brush and pallet knife to paint.
I picked up painting as a hobby since 1996, following my mother’s footstep. She was an accomplished Chinese brush painting artist. I took lessons from Bob Rankin, Pauline Cortez, Ngo Lap and Winne Ferguson, as you see from a melting pot of USA, hence my style.
I resides in Cary, NC. I am a member of Fine Art League of Cary. I had solo exhibits at Herb Young Community Center sponsored by Town of Cary, at Wake Medical Center sponsored by United Art Council. I participate in exhibits as much as possible to entertain people and to meet other artists in the community. I am committed to producing art and promoting art.
Y. Chen (Mrs.Chang) is a much-accoladed Chinese brush painting artist in Taiwan. Her work spans 1960's to 1970's. Her style is detailed in water color. It is an honor to include a few of her paintings in Tsui's Gallery.
